My professional path is influenced by a diverse multicultural experience that continues to inform my philosophy. Being a native of the Canary Islands and having lived in various places around Europe, I have had the chance to acquire a unique understanding of how light interacts with space. In the commissions I have undertaken over the years, whether urban contexts in cities like London and Milan, or the natural environments of magnificent ocean islands, light has always played a crucial role in mastering the use of space and how we live in it. Light, shape and texture, past and present, tradition and contemporary allure are all paramount to me as I seek to find a perfect fit between

function and form. Somehow, quite spontaneously, my preliminary research and design work end up focusing on a specific reference point. It may be a fireplace, a staircase, a bathroom, a centerpiece. Something that gives sense of shape and balance to the entire project, that sets in motion a rethinking and rediscovery of the limitless possibilities in terms of chromatic verve, material selection and architectural level. I am always seeking out new materials, which I see not only as the key ingredient in every project, but also as the signature factor in interior and product design. The material from which an object is made is the defining element, what renders it unlike all others. I aim to turn environments into fluid expressions of ambiance where expertly crafted products add to the inviting feel and where the many attitudes of a modern lifestyle are embraced in full.

True to customer expectations, I am committed to providing flexible options that meet individual requirements. Homes and products are primarily for people to use and enjoy, so it only stands to reason that they be designed with a personal touch. With a forward-thinking flair, I make every effort to satisfy my clients, learn about respective habits and desires so as to build a long-term, customised and compatible indoor experience.
