A generous three-story flat set within a grand detached London property. Miriam Dominguez Guerra completely reinvented the layout, with a precision-perfect plan in glass, stone and recycled wood, creating harmony throughout the family home. Spaces for day and night living are distinguished by the use of contrasting materials. Acacia wood and lava slate for day, luna larch and beige limestone for night and a large slab of natural lava stone for the transition between them. Miriam’s distinctive Mi Ojo fireplace, constructed from a single slab of Bateig grey limestone provides the focal point for the sitting area. Her spacious bespoke kitchen design was produced by leading manufacturers, ArcLinea, in Italy.
